Chia Goodness™ is a new concept in breakfast cereal.

The ingredients are completely raw - just stir in milk or water, hot or cold, and wait a few minutes for it to thicken, giving it the comfort quality of oatmeal.

We combine chia with our shelled hempseed, a great source of protein, essential fatty acids and trace minerals, and add other seeds, fruits and nuts to give you the best breakfast ever.

Gluten Free

There are several reasons we feel confident to put a gluten-free claim on our package:

  1. We have gluten-free certificates from all of the ingredient suppliers.
  2. Although the machines are also used for products that contain gluten, that never happens on the same day as we make Chia Goodness. It is always made on its own days, and the machines are thoroughly cleaned prior to running. Most importantly, they are swabbed for gluten, after cleaning and prior to running, to ensure that they there is no gluten present on the machinery.
  3. We test the final product a couple of times per year to ensure the gluten-free status.
  4. We have been making Chia Goodness for close to 5 years, and have never had a gluten complaint. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency also approached us on this subject, and tested the product and confirmed it is gluten-free. In fact, they have told us to take the mention of wheat off of the package to avoid confusion as some have experienced.  I personally do not want to take it off, because I feel that full disclosure is the right thing, and will do so only in Canada as the government is telling us to do so.
  5. My step-daughter has celiac disease and has eaten this safely for years. As well, she gives it to her children, who are not celiac, but she shields them from gluten.
